.....and sell my Wii, I wanna ask this board if there are any good Wii games they recommend???
It just seems like all the games I actually want to play are coming out on the Xbox and PS3, the few games that I do own (Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess and Smash Bros.) are based on decades old franchises, and whenever I go into a game store, all I see for the Wii are movie tie-in games and shit that looks targeted at a much, much younger audience. After being out for 2 years, there's no excuse for not having more titles.
Which really sucks because I always fancied myself a Nintendo fanboy to the grave.
So..... any suggestions?

Boom Blox is quite fun, and so is No More Heroes. Trauma Center is also kind of fun.
I'd wait at least until E3 to sell the Wii though. Just see if Nintendo has anything of interest coming out.
EDIT: Oh, and Warioware: Smooth Movies is a hilarious acid trip of awesome.

all silly minigame compilations and ports of PS2 games with tacked on wiimote controls aside, get no more heroes, brawl (of course) and maybe that castlelvania game that just came out. I'm still on the fence about that last one.
there really isn't too much out there once you take those two categories out of the mix. I know some will disagree with me, but I am sorry. you also might want to hold out for tatsunoko vs capcom.

A brief clarification: I probably won't sell my Wii, since I like Mario Galaxy too much. What I mean is, I'd been thinking of buying an Xbox or PS3 and not ever looking back.
PS, thanks for the suggestions, keep 'em coming!

I'd get a 360, if only because it has a larger library and is much cheaper than the PS3.

I'll probably end up selling my Wii since almost nothing is coming out....and the only games I'm playing are Wario Land and SSBB.

Well, I say keep your hopes up. When I first got the Wii, the only things I had in mind were the Virtual Console and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. But now I have plenty of original Wii titles, including four WiiWare games.
And if worse comes for worse, The Conduit seems to be a beacon of hope for some of you.

honestly, besides mario kart, brawl, mario galaxy, zelda (which i still havent bought... i know im terrible), i only got the wii for the VC. i understand i can get ROM's and what not. or even compilations, but some of those games on the VC arent on compilations. and i like using the wiimote as an NES controller.
oh, and no more heroes is pretty fucking cool too.
or just ask douche since he has 800+ nintendo games. or some ridiculously high number like that

no more heroes was awesome, also mario kart was fun, super paper mario was okay.. but there really aren't too many good games out. we're getting tons of gimmicky undeveloped mini-games, or as you said "movie tie-ins". but personally i'd hold out and stick it through.

VERY well worded!!! That perfectly summarizes how most Wii titles strike me.

Well, if you're referring to the WiiWare games, two of them are Dr. Mario Online Rx and Mega Man 9.

Dr. Mario Online RX, heh. Clever title. Hopefully the ol' plumber doesn't get busted slangin' those illegal OC 'scripts.

Another great Wiiware title is World of Goo, one of the highest rated games ever.
I'll disagree with a lot of you though and say I didn't like No More Heroes very much. It was cool at first, and the combat is great, but the driving/city sections really dragged it down to a boring level.
Wii games I've had fun with are Need For Speed: Carbon, Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones (Batman is a buggy mess), and if you enjoy puzzle games, Zack and Wiki: The Quest for Barbaros' Treasure.
There are some decent games on the Wii if you're willing to look for them. Get a subscription to Gamefly or something and start renting some to try them out.

Off the top of my head:
Mario Galaxy
Super Paper Mario
Blast Works
Guitar Hero: World Tour
Twilight Princess
Metroid Prime
NiGHTS
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
Mario Kart Wii
Ghost Squad
House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return
Boom Blox
No More Heroes
Zack & Wiki
Smash Bros. Brawl
Wario Land
Castle of Shikigami III
Red Steel
Okami
And if you've got Gamecube controllers and don't have have a PS2:
Metal Slug Anthology
Guilty Gear XX Acent Core
There's definitely a few I'm forgetting.
The problem with the Wii is that you need to constantly research what's coming out for it (and if you haven't been, what's out for it), in order to find the real games for it. If you walk into a WalMart, Best Buy, or Target, you're going to see the obvious first party titles, a few third party classics, and then, for the most part, complete shit. Aside from research, a good way to find some of the hidden gems is to comb through the used pile at GameStop.

LOL 115 Wii titles. All together though yea about 800+. Dragon Blade is actually pretty fun, it's not very mainstream but I enjoyed it. Everyone else pretty much said all the other really good ones. Stay away from any games from the publisher "Bold". They make the same exact game and then just put different sprites in it.

Personally, I thought Banana Blitz was really weak compared to the GCN games.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I had been looking at Sonic on the Wii, but it got pretty much universally bad reviews, so I wrote it off. Probably not a good thing to do.

Resident Evil 4 Wii is the definitive version, House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return is great. Both these games also work with the GameStop Duo Shot. I know that most GameStop peripherals suck, but the Duo Shot has triggers for both the A and Z buttons, and fixes the balance issues that the Nyko Perfect Shot had. Also, Medal of Honor Heroes 2 is basically Call of Duty 4 light, and is pretty fun. EA hosts the servers, too, so you don't have to fuck around with friend codes. I hear good things about Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure, and of course No More Heroes (although it's already been mentioned). There's also all of the GameCube titles that you might have missed out on, like Gotcha Force.

The oft-delayed Wii Ultimate Shooting Collection is coming out sooner or later, and despite having awful box art that makes it look like shovelware, it features Radio Allergy, one of the most critically acclaimed Japanese shooters since Ikaruga.
