ok my friend gave me one of his old flash drives and it had a few n.e.s roms on it. one of them was mario's time machine and it was mario game ever. you have to have a knowledge of history to play it and it just plain made me sick

For what they were, I also enjoyed Mario's Time Machine and Mario is Missing.

Ya, you can't take Mario's Time Machine and Mario's Missing as true mario games, but as Educational Mario games and there pretty damn good at bein educational.

QFT. I liked Mario is Missing as well, but the later levels got rather annoying and repetitive...and not fun repetitive like Diablo 2. Of course, I am also a big fan of Mario Teaches Typing.

I havent played either in quite a while but I remember I liked Mario Is Missing and in Marios time machine I was really young and had hope so when youd go surfing Id going thinking Id reach land sometime..

Fuck, I don't even consider Mario is Missing or Marios Time Machine real mario games. Hotel mario, fuck that, not a real mario game. So I say SMB 2 because it was the most disappointing mario game.

Mario is Missing and Mario's Time Machine were at least INTENDED to have Mario in them.

Duh, that's why I chose SMB2 as the worst mario game. It was disappointing that underneath, it wasn't a mario game. I don't count mario games made by Hi-Tech expressions or Mindscrape or whoever made those games.

The worst Mario game is probably either Mario Clash or I Am A Teacher: Super Mario no Sweater.
Super Mario no Sweater doesn't even seem to contain Mario, but it does have sheep.

Yeah, just like docinsano said about Mario games. Since SSBB wasn't made by Nintendo it's not a real Smash Bros. game and therefore it doesn't count.

I actually thought Mario Clash was pretty interesting. Granted. it's nothing like the conventional mario game, but it's still cool and one of the few worthy games on the Virtual Boy.
My vote for worst mario game goes to any of the Mario Party games that aren't on the Wii.
