So I know someone who has a profile picture that makes them look like the ugliest person alive. In person they're obviously furthest thing from ugly, so quite literally the picture doesn't do them justice. How do I suggest to this person to change their picture without coming off like a douchebag?

I would say in my own words "You have a great personality, but you should change your picture. I'm not saying your ugly at all, I just think one of your other pictures is a ton cooler."

Is it someone you're friends with? If so, I would just be blunt about it. Then again, I'm an asshole, so maybe my advice isn't too great to follow.

i agree w/spehornoob. if its a friend, just say, this pic is way better.
if its someone youre not that close too yet, then obviously tact would help.
just say, 'hey, thats a nice pic, but i believe this other one is waaay better'
