Mixing Marvel superheroes with the RPG video game genre? That sounds promising, but honestly, I've heard little about this game. All I know is it's a game for the next gen systems and it will feature 140 Marvel characters. I'm still not sure what this game even is. It looks like a button masher, but the press release calls it a RPG.

With the limited knowledge we've been given is anyone excited?

I'm excited about the idea of a new Marvel game especially with so many characters, but I'm curious what on earth it is. An RPG could be cool, or even another Capcom style fighting game though if they'd call it an RPG I doubt it's that. Maybe RPG/action like Tales of Symphonia and as I understand it Kingdom Hearts?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

That being said

1. I loved the games "prequels" if you will. (the x men kengends games)

2. while having a lot of charaters is grand. Does anyone really want to play as silver surfer? as opposed to cooler/other marvel chracters? Before flames, please keep my mind my bias agasint anything silver surfer.

Steve Gavazzi, Marc Green
Jon Sly! It's time to play... WHICH DOUCHEBAG SAID THIS????

"I'm curious -- which mountain climber was used in Cliff Hangers?"

While I'm not a fan of Marvel in particular, I am a fan of RPGs. If the system of the gameplay seems favorable, I would like to give it a shot. I'll be pissed if it's a button masher... I dislike Diablo for that reason.

Hasn't this already been done with City of Heros and City of Villians? (Even more so since the company who made them actually got sued by Marvel for the ability to make characters look like copyrighted Marvel characters.)

Permanently under construction.

This time it isn't an evil internet game, nor a cheap knock off. It's officially licensed. May not mean much to some people, but it does to me; I want my crap with a brand name Twisted Evil

Mostly I'm happy cause it's not an internet game. Sorry, but I hate the monthly fees. The communities tend to piss me off too.

Slight correction: It's not an Internet ONLY game, you can still have fun with whatever internet group you become a part of.

Isn't it like X-men Legends on a much larger scale?
