it was a parody on all those old giant robot animes where the robot would shoot it's fists like a weapon.

he ripped his own robot's arm off and threw it like a javelin, while everytone else was like "WTF?" after destroying the mosnter, the fist kept flying and destroyed a baseball stadium in the background. those guys on the calculators are freaking out on how much they're going to have to pay to fix this.

oh it's great. the whole hook is that teh robot is owned by a private company, so they ahve to worry about publicity and expenses and stuff, plus the robot is a POS and they're unexperienced with piloting it. good fun!
