What is up with the apples?
It is fall damn it. Apples are supposed to be amazingly good right now in New England. So why is it that the last 3 apples I have attempted to eat have been gross?
Damn it. I was excited to eat one today.
P.S. The GNR song Bad Apples is excellent and should not be confused with my current bad apples experience.

I love apples in general. My roommate got a case of these Apple-Pears which are exactly what they sound. They have alot of the Pear flavor, with the shape and texture of an apple, quite delectable.

Just have some hard cider instead. It tastes like apple juice and has twice the amount of alcohol of most American beers (Hornsby's is at 6%, Vermont made Woodchuck is around 5% I think).

Where do I buy these?
They sound great!
Also, while I enjoy apples, I do not like apple cider or apple flavored alcoholic beverages.

Fuji may be the best, but I certainly know what the worst type is.

Nah, not Fuji. Honey Crisp apples FTW. Bought some at the beginning of the week. Now I need more. They are so goooooood.
Here is a link with more information than is necessary about an apple. But you'll read it anyways.

My personal favorite apple is the Gala. As for pears, I'm not picky. Pretty much all pears are great!

Yes, the Macintosh. The Apple that changed the way people look at fruit.

I live about 2 blocks from an excellent family run Orchard. Free apple stuff all the time (pies, cider, red/green apples). Doctor O does not know of these 'bad apples' you speak of.

Yeah, this sounds like Morman beer. Most beer is around 5-6% alcohol with the exception of some light beers that around 4.5%. I know that in some states they have Mormon beer which is around 3% i believe.

I was under the impression that most lite beers like Coors, Miller, & Bud lite were at 3%, and the regular Bud, MGD, & Coors were at 4%.
After looking it up at wikipedia, it appears that I was off by one percentage point, it's 4% & 5% respectively.
My friends usually buy lites, so I'm used to that beer, so when I drink a Hornsby's, I feel way more buzzed than I do from one beer (4% compared to 6%).

Not a fan of apples.
I prefer peaches, pears, plums, nectarines, oranges... just about everything else.

Tyop, that image used the same apple as mine did. I can tell because the leaf is the same.

Grow your own apples. It's easy. Just wait a few years for the tree to grow.

You need to own property to do that.
I'm a year away from that. At least.
