So I was flipping through the channels today and apparently the History channel has a show on tonight called "God Vs. Satan".
LoL...
So I was just curious, who are you rooting for?

If God is so omnipotent why would Satan bother?

I don't know, maybe because Jesus and his friends need this as a tool to levy fear, control and hypocrisy over the faithful.

Are you saying that you were programmed by Satan or his followers?

Well, let's look at the records:
Number of people killed in the Bible and by whom:
God = 2,391,421*
Satan = 10**
*This also greatly underestimates God's total death toll, since it only includes those killings for which specific numbers are given. No attempt was made to include the victims of Noah's flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, or the many plagues, famines, fiery serpents, etc., with which the good book is filled. Still, 2 million is a respectable number even for world class killers.
**and even these he shares with God, since God allowed him to do it as a part of a bet. I'm talking about the seven sons and three daughters of Job.
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job ... And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
...
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Then Satan answered the LORD ... put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
...
And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house...And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. -- Job 1:1-19

Knyte,
Based on scripture God is also responsible for the creation of all life. Every life created can be attributed to God, including that of Satan. So the ratio of lives created to lives taken favors God.

So that gives him/her/it the right?
So, by your arguement, if Serial Killer "A" killed 20 people but had 4 children he would be better then Serial Killer "B" who only killed 5 people but had no children?
Look, before a religious forum war erupts:
I am not trying to knock, slander, or belittle anyone's beliefs. All I stated in my above post was simple statistics. That's all. There is no need to get defensive.
And, don't worry, I'm just like South Park in that I don't pick on any one religion, race, creed, or belief. I'll get to them all eventually.

I wasn't being serious, I was enjoying our little debate
I would consider that if a serial killer killed 2 million people but gave birth to trillions of beings... yeah... that might be better. But your point is taken.
