I don't see myself caring about this game. I loved the original, mostly due to the unlockable NES games. I bought the DS one and grew bored with it almost immediately. It didn't have any NES games and without the promise of worthwhile unlockables, my interest quickly cooled. The Wii version obviously won't have unlockable NES games due to the VC.

The problem with Animal Crossing is that it's nothing special. Other games have done what it does, except better. If I wanted to play a cute little sim game, I'd play Harvest Moon, because it has more interesting options, like the ability to marry jailbait.

I played the sims once, I made a little digital Blackout, got him a little apartment with crappy stuff and a shitty job to pay the bills. Eventually I worked my way up the digital corporate ladder and made better money so I could buy better things and improve my digital domicile. I started talking to a girl sim and telling lots of jokes and giving lots of backrubs so she'd like me. I slipped her some tongue and eventually a ring and bam, little Blackout has a wife and a new baby. I looked at my little digital self with pride, nice house full of fancy shit, wife and kids, life is good. I turned the game off to go to bed and looked around, shitty apartment with nothing cool in it, ex girlfriend, and overdue bills, plus I had to go to work in two hours. FUCK THE SIMS. Razz

I thought it was weird that in the xbox port of the sims 2 (which by the way removed half the features like growing old dying and having kids that eventually grew up and took over your house Rolling Eyes

) had sims game on the computers that your sim could play. That's right, you can play the sims2 and make your sim play the sims. WTF?! Confused
