I live in the mountains, and in our town of 5000 people we only had basic cable, and very poor if any percentage of people with a satellite dish.

We had no MTV, so for our Music Video fix we turned to Night Tracks. The show ran from 1983 till 1992, and aired on TBS Superstation based out of Atlanta, Georgia. They ran music videos from about 11pm or 12am till 6am, and it was sweet as hell.

If anyone of the older set remembers this, let me know.

I'll look into it, but I'm not sure I remember it. I only had 3 channels. No videos, but we did get American Bandstand. Menudo was on every week.

It was direct competetion to MTV, and way sweeter because the VJ's usually got away with saying whatever they wanted, as it was after midnight. The around 1992, after an almost ten year run, it was no more, and then the same production company introduced "Friday Night Videos" on NBC. I knoooow you guys remember that.
