I'll probably get it. The reviewer compares it to Wii Sports Baseball, but I've heard a more apt comparison is the GCN Mario baseball game. From what I've heard it's not a good game if you're looking for pure baseball, but it's a good Mario-oriented sports game.

I like how one of the complaints is that you can't play as Samus or Link. It's a fucking Mario game.

Most people assume now that because it's a Mario game, it's going to feature shit tons of Nintendo characters. Smash Brothers has spoiled them, but if it means we get to play as Spy Hunter in the next Mario Kart, I'm down.

Or Mega Man. Think about it. It would mean that they'd include not only the classic Mega Man, but also X, Rock Volnutt from Legends, Megaman.EXE which was pretty damn cool, Zero, maybe even Vent and Aile from ZX and those protagonists of ZXA that I don't remember...

I need to play all these games in order or something.

It looks alright, I'll probably put it on my Gamefly list later. People also might be getting onto Nintendo about "No Link or Samus" because of how Donkey Kong is pretty much merging into the Marioverse. It's not just DK, Diddy, and Dixie anymore. Now there's Tiny, Kritter, and K.Rool, but at least Mario and DK being in the same universe makes sense, since Mario's first game was with Donkey Kong. I don't think I saw Samus' ship come out of nowhere while I was playing Super Mario Galaxy. (Though that would've been pretty neat)
