Man. I remember Rocko so much, it hurts. Filburt was awesome, "I'm getting nauseous". And the show taught me to put chicken wings up my nose. If I ever had trouble getting the wings out of the old snoz, I could use the ole Suck-O-Matic. Good stuff. The Wolves may have not enjoyed Rocko, but those of us looking for a superior cartoon to Ren & Stimpy got our champ. I haven't seen the show since '95, but I have vivid images. The exact titles of the episodes aren't there, but I remember them intuitively. Rocko went to the Eiffel Tower with Hef. "No Spunky, don't chew on that!!" I remember one funny scene where they showed a real-life picture of meatloaf with a fly on it as a gag. Of course, I was always a Doug fanboy (chalky and patti and roger and boomhour), but I LOVED Rocko. Anyone else?

I LOVED that show. I haven't seen it since I was maybe five, but I remember quite a bit about it. I remember Filburt's addiction to sauce. I remember the last episode I saw (it might've been the last episode aired) was some kind of halloween episode. I remember the episode when Heffer went to hell ("Heck" as it was referred in the show). I also remember Rocko's favorite restaurant being the Chokey Chicken, and not thinking anything of the name when I was little, but a few years ago remembering the name and having a good laugh aobut it.

The theme song plays in my head as I type this. Great show.

Also, if you have cable, you can still catch it on the Nicktoons channel iirc. Superior to Ren & Stimpy? I says otherwise.

It wasn't just Heck, it was HELL crossed out with "Heck, a friendly community" . The show is awesome, and you can indeed still catch it on the nicktoons channel.

I remember Filburts crazy grandmother or aunt that even though she walked around, she still lived in an aquarium tank on her head and part of her body. That shit was great.

I still like the phrase "Conglomo-we own you", and I remember the company was obsessed with repelling giraffes, but I've forgotten the rest.

Rocko's Modern life was indeed excellent. I would however like to point out that it ripped the whole brain flying out of the character's skull scream of panic thing from Ren & Stimpy.

There was also the episode where the boss at the comic book store went away and left Rocko in charge, and he hit the massage button on the chair and become evil.

You turn the page, you wash your hands. You turn the page, you wash your hands.

That's okay, I don't want to be a dentist anymore. I'm going to be a chimney sweep, leaping from rooftop to rooftop...

No song, Philburt.

No song?

No.

Aw, fiddlesticks.

The best episode was when they were taping him nude and watching it in that gay coffee shop. Laughing

Rocko pussed out, he shoulda banged Mr. Bighead's wife, she cleary wanted him if my memory serves me correctly. Confused

Hey didn't Fred Schneider from the B-52's do the song? Or was it a guy who sounded just like him?

Not sure, but I do know one of the dudes from Devo did all the music for Rugrats.

Yeah Mark Mothersbaugh from Devo has done so many TV theme shows that it's ridiculous. Here's a few.

Pee-wee's Playhouse
Rugrats
Eureka
Clifford the Big Red Dog
Sliders
Halloweentown

He's also done the music for The Sims 2, Crash Bandicoot 1 and 2, Jak 2 and 3, and some others.

Anyone know if this show is out on DVD? I know a simple google search would do the trick, but still...

Yeah, I dig Rocko too. The Nude party with Heffer is funny as hell. I don't get it, he's a steer, and he's named Heffer. Whatever, this show gets my approval. Oh yeah, the episode where Mrs. Bighead totally tries to get on Rocko is funny too.
