What gives? When greeneyedzeke's arch nemesis GPFontaine arrived, zeke all but disappeared. Rare posts, no more Digital Pictures Project... It's very sad. Sad

Gishman, what have you done?! Mad

He is addicted to Spore.

He still reads the forums on occasion but has never been a big talker.

We were co-workers for about a year and a half until last month (8/8/0Cool when I quit that job and moved on. I still chat with him just about every work-day on IM though. Funny enough he isn't on today.

As for the DPP, I told him it was great and that he should keep it up. I even tracked down a rare source for one of the games he could never find (I contacted the author and developer). But he didn't like the idea that he wasn't making updates frequently and felt that the site should come down. I have been assured that the site is backed up this time (the first time he did this... he lost like 90% of it).

heh... well... it was about time that someone outed him.

Who was it that said they would give me $1000 if I wasn't Dr. Boll... I am going to find out. Oh and I will collect.

Hey everyone.

I'm still around, like GPFontaine said. I check in to see what's going on every now and again and, yeah, sorry about the Dr. Boll thing. Smile

It scares me how believably I can emulate that guy...

However, I am most certainly *not* M3GA MAN. Dear Lord no...

GPFontaine's right, too, about the DPP. It is actually backed up this time. I just felt silly paying for web hosting when I updated once every... three? four? months. I won't lie, though. The bug is creeping up on me again. Maybe it's dissatisfaction with the current state of gaming. I'm not sure. I feel like I'd *rather* play crappy FMV games than a lot of the new stuff that's coming out, no matter how well-reviewed it has been.

Actually, I'll mini-rant about that. What IS coming out?

I think right now I'm excited about Lego Batman, a new DS Castlevania, Animal Crossing for the Wii, and the Bioware Sonic RPG. This year's E3 really took the wind out of my videogaming sails. It doesn't help that my television likes to make up its own mind about whether it wants to stay on or not. Plus, work has been ridiculously busy. Lastly, I find myself wondering what the hell I'm doing with my life and I feel like I'm *Gasp* wasting time gaming. Granted, I'm not doing anything substantially better when I'm not gaming, but you know how it goes. I'll snap out of that.

I've been playing "Spore", though not that much honestly. Like a lot of Will Wright's stuff is has some fascinating elements. I'm not, however, losing hours to it the way I did to "The Sims" when I first got my hands on it. I'm most of the way through "Portal" ("test" 18 of 19) and that's been fairly enjoyable. I find that steam has been a Godsend for getting my hands on some great deals ("Beyond Good and Evil" for five bucks, "Portal" for ten, and "Bioshock" for fifteen? Yes, please!).

Oh, and I find it incredibly amusing that Marky Mark has gone from being a Sega CD "Make My Video" star to headlining the cinematic adaptation of the "Max Payne" series. Very Happy

My fondest wish is that in the Club Ragna Rock scene in the movie, they use "Good Vibrations" for the club music instead of the generic stuff that was in the game. That would be awesome.
