I finally hunkered down and bought the IV-VI SW trilogy on DVD - and wow. I previously hadnt owned a set since the pre-special edition VHS tapes (

1) Wow, the ending with the ghosts of the Jedi is so much more awesome with Hayden Christiansen actually smiling for the first time in four movies - I actually felt it this time rather than the actor who played Vader behind the mask. No offense to that guy, but I think it works now.
2) The last piece of music just sucks. I dont think there was much wrong with the original one, except that it was kind of dated. I know that John Williams didnt write it, and I felt that was one thing that could have stayed in. Also, it didnt segue into the end credits music well at all, maybe not even two beats between the music and the end credits recap.
3) For as good as the SW movies are, their trailers are downright awful. I know that the New Hope one was off of incomplete film footage - but the rest of them - especically the Harrison Ford (at least it sounds like him) 1920'sish narration of the ESB teaser trailer with the slides of the characters - it does little to make you excited to see it. Counterpoint: I bet it did make people back in 1980 very excited. But it still interesting to know that these trailers are pretty much crap.
