Recently, Sci-Fi has taken to showing marathons of failed shows like Kindred: The Embraced, Jake 2.0, Jeremiah and God knows what else.
This is annoying for two reasons. First of all, these shows were all cancelled, which speaks to their quality. Secondly, in cases when the cancellation DOESN'T speak to the quality of the show, it's still not worth your time investment. These shows were all cancelled with questions left unanswered and investing your time in them will only fill you with regret.

Look, I just want them to go back to showing nothing but Tales From The Dark Side and X-Files. Is that so wrong?

I spent the last 6 months without TV and just 3 weeks ago finally got a satellite.
I was pretty disappointed at how shitty Sci-Fi's line up is now, compared to how sweet it was 5 or so years ago. I have this channel called Chiller that plays nothing but awesome stuff like Tales from the Darkside, Tales from the Crypt, Kolchak the Night Stalker, and more. I love it.

I don't receive the Sci-Fi channel here, so I can't complain about reruns. What I do get to see are the shows they produce. And when I see them doing something as incredible as BSG, it really saddens me to hear that they are going to make yet another Stargate series.
Why, for example, didn't they give J. Michael Straczynski a second chance after The Legend of Rangers? Now he's too busy writing movie scripts, but he would have been perfect for them. He has proven in the past that he can create a great show with a limited budget and that's exactly the kind of person they need.
Maybe I am asking for too much here and should be content with one great show at a time, but when I think about what could be, I can't help but wish for more.

Executives who wash out of ABC get shipped to Bravo. Executives who wash out of Bravo get shipped to Sci-Fi. The executives at Sci-Fi are openly not fans of the genre and could give a fuck less about the channel.

Ones Who Does Not Have Triforce Cannot Go In.
NBC owns Sci-Fi, not ABC. Hence why they have shown Heroes marathons and why they show WWE programming.

Just found out that SciFi will be broadcasting Gundam 00, the latest Gundam series. Which is great, since the only Gundam I've been able to see since SEED got butchered and canceled was my boxed set of Gundam Wing. I find it odd that the show is on the SciFi network, but I think it fits the theme of the network more than wrestling does.
FINALLY, I SHALL BE ABLE TO SEE MOBILE SUITS BASH THE HELL OUT OF EACH OTHER ON TELEVISION AGAIN!!!
(And I know that there are other mech shows out there. I loves me some Code Geass and Big O, but Gundam is what I got started on. It's my favorite anime series by far, and one of my favorite shows of all time.)

I would be happy with a 24 hour Star Trek, old-school Battlestar Galactica, Galactica 1980, Star Wars, Outer Limits, Ripley's channel.

I fixed it. Both times I wrote "was" it was supposed to be "wash". Dunno how I made the same typo twice.

I was happy today watching "The Sentinel" marathon. I liked that show.
But, so is the destiny of most shows I get into.
The last one season or less.
Maybe, I should hire out my talents. If there are shows you hate, just pay me to watch them, and they will go away sooner than later.
