So I watched the first episode of the new "Knight Rider" and it is complete shit.

(It Airs Wednesday, but it's up for free on Comcast HD On Demand, under TV Fall Previews / NBC)

One, the new KITT has the pursuit mode, in which he morphes into a even more suped up version of himself. (Complete with ground effects and a ram scoop), which is one of the stupidest ideas from the first show that they did when ratings started to drop in its last season.

Two, Not only does KITT "morph" into pursuit mode, but also FUCKING TRANSFORMS into a full size crewcab Ford 350 pickup!

The crammed as much action, and as little plot as possible into the show's 1 hour runtime. In one episode we get to see KITT transform a shitload of times, and survive a napalm missle blast from a helocopter. The napalm is burning all around the outside of KITT while the passengers start to get cooked alive, so they strip down to thier underwear and sweaty bodies. (Thus fulfilling the sexy requirement for the episode or something.) There are already some secret organization who is hunting after the main character (Michael) and seem to know that he is working for the uber-secret Knight Foundation, and knows how to attack him in a Super Top Secret car. But, by the end of the episode, it seemed that the problem is easily solved and we may never see any of these adversaries again.

The actual "Story" of the episode gets about 15 minutes to play out, because the rest of the time is spent on stupid sexual tension side plots and cheestastic CGI special effects.

The only good things about the show:
1. Val Kilmer does a good job as the voice of the new KITT.
2. The guy that was the evil senator in "X-Men" is in it. (I like him as an actor.)
3. No signs of David Hasslehoff yet. (Though, he did make a cameo in the 2 hour TV movie/Pilot.)

I feel your pain man, I was pissed off too.

The Pilot was actually alot better than I thought it was going to be, but I could tell immediately after watching the end that I would probably never watch a single episode ever again. Ever.

The premise is promsing, but it doesn't deliver at all, on any level.
