Oh sure, it seems ridiculous when taken out of context. I'm sure there was a perfectly logical explanation for the transformers to go to senior prom.

This was from the episode where the decepticons try to change their ways and frame the autobots so they force them off of earth and take the world over. It was pretty hilarious how much people began to trust the deceptcons even after all the destrution they have done.
