What's up? I've Been reading the forums for a while and the site for even longer, so I figured I'd start posting.
I'm a mid-20s metalhead game tester. I play 5-string bass and way too much Megaman 2.

I used to work as a tester and later an associate producer for one of the worst publishers in the world. Grandma's Boy's got nothing on some of the crap that happened to me while working there. It was good times. Welcome.

I work at a studio called Toys for Bob which is owned by Activision. I'm not sure I'm allowed to say what game I'm working on right now, but let's just say that it's based on an upcoming CGI film about adorable zoo animals. ***shudder***
It's actually not as cush of a job as everyone thinks, mostly because you have to stay there almost all day every day. It's not uncommon for people on this current test cycle to end up with 100-120 hours a week, so if you enjoy doing things like, you know, hanging out with friends, listening to music, playing video games you actually want to play, etc., you end up having to re-align your priorities big time.
And yeah, Muppet, I could write a book about everything wrong with Grandma's Boy! Hahaha, awesome movie though!
