Remember a few months ago, when I announced that I'd beaten Mission: Impossible? I decided to give it another crack this week. Getting to the very last area again took some doing, but I made it there. But contrary to back then, when I played that game against the computer flawlessly the first time around, I've fucked up and triggered World War III, naturally rendering all my efforts for naught, FOUR FUCKING TIMES since yesterday. What's wrong with me? How do you pull something off the first time and fuck it up the next several times?

Play Double Dare for the NES, it's a lot more infuriating than Mission Impossible.

Your not the only one, the same shit happens to me when i play star fox or mischief makers again, i somehow did awesome back then but now i'm wonder where the skill went. Mischief makers especially, that game is insane if you lose your skill.

Good news, everyone! I've finally averted World War III for the second time instead of causing it for the fifth! Madelinette's not so hard if you pay attention to the field.

I forgot that existed.
that game was rad. I liked the black guy that threw the gas cans and punched people instead of using a weapon.

For those who don't know, the characters' names are, from left to right, Max Harte, Grant Collier and Nicholas Black, just like on the incarnation of the show upon which the game is based.

Same thing happened to me with TMNT IV: Turtles In Time. My friend rented it when i was about 8, we beat it on the first go, tried again and couldn't. Now I own it and I can't beat it.
