				Let's see....
Twisted Metal 2, Tekken 2, Rogue Trip, all of the Spyro games, all of the Crash games, Grand Theft Auto 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, X:Men: CotA, Spiderman, Fighting Force, Jet Moto 2, Ape Escape, Gex: Enter the Gecko, Gex: Deep Cover Gecko, Bloody Roar 2, Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time, Croc 2, Final Fantasy IX, Destruction Derby 2, Einhander, Assault Rigs(Doubt you'll find this, but if you do, get it because it's amazing), Megaman Legends, and Mortal Kombat 4.

...That's all I can think of.

				Castlevania Symphony of the night!
Twisted Metal 2 is the shit as well, along with Jet Moto 2.

I could never get into the Megaman Legends games.....I tried.....but they did nothing for me.

Oh the original Wipeout also shredded.

capcom fighting games, namco fighting games, dead or alive, damn I have a PS1 and sure would like more suggestions that aren't RPG's. Legend of Dragoon is a satisfying RPG though. Fear Effect is cool if you can handle the learning curve. MediEvil is pretty cool even though i've only played a demo of it. intelligent qube was a fun demo too. Hmm, what else? I thought Vigilante8 was fun even though it got mediocre reviews. MK Trilogy is a must. Man I don't know, even I don't have enough games for it even though most of 'em are dirt cheap now.

Thousand Arms was to Meh/Blah for me. The character is all "OH MY GOD GIRLZ!" and it's insanely easy. The PS1 is an RPG system hands down so if you don't like RPG's there not a WHOLE lot out there you can't find elsewhere. Besides MegaMan X4-6 I would also suggest Tecmo's Deception, Kagero, Clock Tower. But then again you could just buy the MegaMan Collection. Suikoden 1 is the fucking shit. Pick it up regardless. Awesome game. Breath of Fire 3 & 4. and that's all for now.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Crash Bandicoot 2 was good. I actually liked Star Wars Rebel Assault 2. Of course, Final Fantasy 7. Maybe the best RPG ever made. It allowed for guys who dont always play RPG's (like me) to get into the genre.
Bloody Roar and Bloody Roar 2 were great. Coolboarders 2 was a good early PS1 game, but it hasnt really aged well.

The Twisted Metal games were amazing, except for Small Brawl.

I was a huge fan of Tenchu back then. The later games have been disappointing, but Tenchu 1 was the game that defined steath action. (Sorry Solid Snake, but those vision cones were just ghey)

Lots of good suggestions, and my apologies if I overlooked them, but I didn't see anyone mention the Tony Hawk games for ps1.

Did Blasto ever get realeased for the PS1? I played a demo once. It sucked.
Thrasher Skate and Destroy is much better than THPS in my opinion. Loaded is pretty fun and simple to play. Legend of Mana is pretty cool. Man, I can't think of any right now. Wait till later

THPS2 was mentioned, and thrasher Skate and Destroy is such an overlooked game. It is in the same vein as EA's Skate, its just 10 years older.

Definitely gotta go with Tomba! and Twisted Metal 2. Tomb Raider 1 and 2 are both pretty awesome too, or at least they were back in the day.

Crap, I can't believe I forgot one of the greatest fighting game series of all time: Bushido Blade 1 & 2!
Multiple stances, if you get in the arm, then you can't use it. One stike to the head and you done. The only game to ever try to be realistic about swordfighting.

I'd like to step in and say that I think Rogue Trip is the best car combat on the PS1, it's even made by Singeltrac the people who made Twisted Metal before it was gimped by 989 Studios. Vigilante 8 is a close second though in my opinion, but Rogue Trip is far superior in terms of fun to the others.
