Well, The Omen remake comes out today. So... does it count that movie studios are being stupid?

In Newark, Delaware, the day of the beast has the nicest weather we've seen here for two weeks.
Satan must be a golfer.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us. |

Well, the omen is a good movie but i greatly disapprove the way that they make a lot of remake .. if its not old american movie its a remake of other country remake (like Truelies is a remake of La totale or The Ring aka Ringu.. etc, etc..)

Yeah and it's a bitch and a half... I want my game now, dammit! Instead, I need to go to Circuit City and camp out with the other nerds... Considering the ghetto community near me that loves those games, I will bring twelve knives, a 9mm, chainsaw, and a flamethrower for protection.
Speaking of 6/6/06, anyone think that today is part of a conspiracy? Robert F. Kennedy died on 6/6/68... could this be a ploy for him to make his zombie return?

ARG! THE FLYING DEMON MONKEY PIGS ARE EATING MY BRAINSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Seriously though, Religious people have problems, if the "666" thing were true at all, it would have already happened 21 times (once per 1,000 years) or at least in 666 A.D.
Personally, the more I learn about animals and humans in general, the less I believe religion is true. I'm not saying it's bad, I just think it's a big case of: "If you believe it's true, it is!".

Don't judge all of religion on the basis of the opinions of a few nutjobs.

I have to agree with Mike Seaver, life/creation/the human body is way too intricate for it to be random.

I've said it before and I say it again : Religions are relic of past time when it was necessary to somehow explain the chaos of world to the grey masses. Today it should be within reach of everyone with decent balls to face the entity of life and death.
Please all you who belong actively to some religion GET FUCKING REAL !

5. The SydLexia.com forums are not a pulpit.
As it turns out, SydLexia.com is a pop culture website, not a religious website. The forum staff openly encourages you to discuss topical issues involving religion, but we remind you that religion is an extremely sensitive issue. Please refrain from endorsing or debasing any major religion. This includes Buddhism, Atheism, Judaism, Taoism, Shintoism, Hinduism, Islam, and all major branches of Christianity. However, you are invited to criticize extremist religious groups and individuals such as Osama bin Laden and Jerry Falwell who subvert religion to further their own political goals. In doing so, you must refrain from more general attacks on religion itself. Furthermore, these forums are not a recruitment ground. You shall not use these forums to attempt to convert people to your religion; please note that this includes Atheism. If you find this unfair or if you are eager to show off the shit you learned in your World Religions and Philosophy 101 classes, too bad. THIS IS NOT A FUCKING THEOLOGY WEBSITE. |
Bolded/underlined for emphasis. How about taking the religion/nonreligion-pushing elsewhere, please?

As DarkMaze pointed out, this isn't a pulpit. I'd just like to add that science doesn't have all the answers to life and death, at least not yet. Science has not proven or disproven an afterlife, nor has it adequately described the origin of the universe (Yes there's the big bang theory, but where did all THAT shit come from?)
If you don't like relgiion then fine, but just remember that no one has all the answers and it's arrogant, ignorant, and against forum rules to decree otherwise.

Guess what. It doesn't matter what you believe. Or what I believe. Or what Doc Jeebus or Syd believes. It has no place here.
Drop it.

I usually don't bring it up. NASA has like eight billion people, and computers with seventy thousand jiggawatts working on it, when really it was all the doing of some fat kid in Ohio.
I don't want to make them feel like their efforts were in vain.
