Did anyone else go? Or does anyone plan on going?

I found the best acts of the day to be The Red Chord, Suicide Silence, Machinehead and Mastodon.

Let's see. On one hand, Mastodon and Machine Head rule, and Disturbed, Black Tide, The Red Chord, and Dragonforce are all right. (by 'all right', I mean 'listenable') On the other hand...

I'll pass.

Plus, when I hear people talk about this tour, I always think Mayhem (the band) is touring the U.S. It confuses me.

I was supposed to go to it, but I blew a tire before I even left town. I was running late, and really only interested in Mastodon, Machine Head, and maybe Dragonforce, so the delay getting a new tire on a two hour trip pretty much swayed me not to go. Besides, tickets were too expensive for only 3 bands I actually wanted to see.

P.S. Shouldn't this be in music section?

Slipknot still has a career? I figured people would have been sick of that gimmick about five minutes after they debuted. "Look! We wear stupid masks and refer to ourselves only as numbers! Maybe you'll buy into the idea that we're not just a bunch of middle-aged losers with negligible musical talent if we act really scary like maybe we're not really human!"
