One of the following:
Mega Man 2
Dragon Warrior 2
Tecmo Super Bowl
The Immortal
I've played all of these so many times it's ridiculous. Dragon Warrior 2 has the best nostalgia attached to it... sitting in the downstairs den for hours, trying to figure out how to beat the "slot machine" game.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us. |

Probably SMB3 or Kirby's Adventure. Both had enormous replay value for me.

Crash & the Boys: Street Challenge, and Dragon Warrior IV. I have probably rented those so many times I could have bought them 5 times a piece.

I forgot Dodgeball.
My team was Sam, Bill and Randy.
Sam because he was the captain, and his "disc" throw could nail all 3 opponents at once.
Bill because he was bald.
Randy because his jumping power throw fucking pwned.

Well, Super Mario Bros 1 & 3, Simon's Quest, and Legend of Zelda are probably my all time faves. But I'm also a big fan of Maniac Mansion, the Dragon Warrior series, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Punch Out, Contra, Ninja Gaiden, Rygar, Castlevania 1 & 3, Shadowgate, Deja Vu, Uninvited, Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom, Life Force, Double Dragon...
Hell, I love a lot of games. I feel like if I don't list several, I'm leaving something out.
