Seriously, there are times when i spend hours on the internet. It's gotten to the point where I don't remember what life was like before the internet and if i don't get my fix of the net each day i get nuts

well maybe not that nuts but with all this talk about drugs in the MJ thread and the fact that right now i'm still on the internet when i intended on quiting hours ago has got me thinking:

Is the internet the ultimate addictive drug thats not a drug?

Hours could pass by and i would not even realize it. And the internet is the most adapting drug of all. If i get bored with something i'm only a click away from something else to occupy my time. If the internet stalls, i through a fit similar to a junky throwing a chair out the window. And the variety of things to do and the endless discovery of new haunts only makes my theory more true:

I am an Internet-holic . . . i am out there . . . AND I'M LOVIN EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!!!! Twisted Evil

I am very addicted to the internet, but if the internet fails me, I got my video games.

Also, the guy at the counter looks like Gordon Freeman.

If you have answered “Yes” to two or more of the questions, this is a warning to you. These are all signs that you could easily become an interholic. Control, or even better, STOP your surfing. These are all early warning signs of interholism, so there is still time to change your ways before it is too late.

Addiction is defined by the consequences. Therefore, it is really hard to be addicted to the internet, as there aren’t too many consequences unless you are forgetting to eat and distancing yourself from people you care about. It is easier to be addicted to internet porn then it is to be addicted to the internet itself.
