28 weeks later is such a horrible movie. It does literally everything wrong that a zombie movie could do wrong. It's called, "internet screamer movie". First off, it has characters that nobody gives a shit about. It has no real element of fear or tension, the only scares it has are jump-out-and-scare-you erratic bullshit. Making randomly loud, startling scenes is the number one way to make the audience put themselves on guard and distance themselves from the movie instead of engage in it and enjoy it, unless you're an ADD retard who enjoys bright flashing lights and loud noises at random intervals. It fucking tricks you into listening closely during limey bullshit emotional mumbling that you don't care about, with a wimpy coward main character talking to his worthless kids that you don't give two shits of a fuck about, telling the story of his wife that is ugly and dumb. NOBODY FUCKING CARES. Jesus. Sucky characters, sucky zombies (they RUN for fuck's sake) and worst of all, HORRIBLE FUCKING ACTION SCENES. Literally every action scene is a jumbled, frantic, and impossible to enjoy waste of time. The camera is panning around and shaking as though Michael J. Fox was trying to film it after having forgotten to take his medication. I finally just gave up trying to watch it, it was literally giving me a headache. The movie was in no way made for you to enjoy, it was made to emotionally manipulate you, cause anxiety and panic because of shitty cinematography, and scare you with internet screamer bullshit volume raising tactics.
I feel ripped off like I want my money back, and I didn't even pay to see it.
If you liked this movie, shut the fuck up; you are wrong. If you agree with me, please share your anger at the worst excuse for a zombie movie ever made.

It's a good, mindless popcorn flick, but you essentially have to turn your brain off to enjoy it. The illogical actions of the characters, and the massive plotholes essentially ruin the movie. First of all, the kids are stupid enough to go in the quarantined area, just for a picture. Then, they're spotted, and instead of being shot on site, it takes the army FOREVER to get to them (essential to the plot, I know, but still ridiculous). Then, when the doctor sees bite marks on the mom's arm, she just continues examining her without immediately executing her. The stupidity of the characters is just amazing.

Click if you dare!
And what's keeping them from making more then a trilogy. I haven't seen either movie but the following titles alone sound bad ass: How about 28 years later or 28 decades later or 28 centuries later or 28 millenniums later . . .
in 28 millenniums later, the zombies have laser guns and are smart enough to fly helicopters.

I'm not seeing this one because the first one sucked. And how can one man take on the military and the zombies at once?

I liked it. I don;t think it was very true to the first movie, but it was still good.

Wouldn't it be 28 minutes before? Like the Pre Prequel. 28 seconds before.

Never saw the 1st or 2nd one.
Frankly they both looked terrible to me.

I just saw this film. It's a pretty big step back from the first one, true. Murdar made all the right statements in his review.
My biggest complaint is that it doesn't feel like a sequel. It feels like a comic book mini-series sequel with all the lame conventions retained. Plus, if people are driving a car, there's a pretty big chance they aren't infected.
