Transmetropolitan was a series running from 1997 to 2002, starring a character inspired by Hunter S. Thompson, an outlaw journalist called Spider Jerusalem.
Now, this comic book is pretty much the best one, like, EVAR. The main character is a badass (he MAKES THE PRESIDENT SHIT HIMSELF. That's funny. Laugh, dammit), the supporting cast is neat and there's enough black humour to kill an elephant with.
