Has he ever done an interview or anything? That's something I'd be interested in hearing about.

For those of you who don't know: Chris Houlihan has a secret room named after him in LoZ: A Link to the Past (SNES and Virtual Console versions only). Google "Chris Houlihan" for more info.

That was total BS that they took the room out of the GBA version.

Well, they didn't take it out, they just removed the Chris Houlihan voicebox and all access to the room. Hacks show that the room itself is still physically within the code though.

I've never played the GBA version - because I don't own a GBA, so I'm probably not as irate as you about it. On the other hand, I agree that it's total BS.

Word.

Someone search for his myspace. They normally do like that N64 kid.

No luck on the myspace search. There are about 10 or so people in the right age range that showed up in the search results (search: Chris Houlihan).

Most of them seem highly unlikely and a couple have their profiles set to private.

Oh well, it was worth a try. I would've tried harder, but it makes me feel like a stalker.

Syd, if you (or anyone else) could get chris in for an interview, that would make one awesome article. Unless he gives a bad interview. Anyway, it was just another thought.

yeah. well, I guess it's not in the castle. The game takes you to that room if there's an error during screen transition.

But the most common way to get into the room involves falling into the hole that normally takes you to the "secret passage" into the castle.

I've managed to get into the room sometimes by falling into Ganon's bat imprint on the Golden Pyramid in the Dark World.
