Yea, with the string attack that kills you in about 2 hits and is almost impossible to avoid in his later forms.

notes on vid: went good some odd things happened though
first of all making the first fire pit jump was amazing ive never done that.
the second dragon (not the chicken) decided to be nice and not jump back and forth so much ive never seen that before.
and on the last level when you normally fight yourself and he takes u down to half life i was randomly attacking and jumped and some how killed him before he came out the window. all of these thing have never happened to me before and somehow made it in my vid
oh and also during my final battle murdarmachene messages me on aim and i go out of the game at a critical point aimlessley wonder back and forth get back in and manage to kill it with one hit left

You pick up power-ups after each level as you gain points. You can use secondary firepower, which will also upgrade steadily, by selecting it.
There are some nifty secondary weapons.

This was my best showing so far. I doubt I will take out anyone, but I felt like I kicked some ass there... compared to how I usually do.

*3 Things*
1st - There will be a Bonus round. This is not another challenge in the sense of what we have been doing but more like an extra credit assignment. I will be posting a Youtube video with some tunes from the NES. Each one you correctly guess is worth an extra point to your overall score. This will most likely be posted during week 10. It will be posted on a saturday and you will have til Tuesday to submit your answers. Could be 5 songs could be 50.
2nd - You guys will have the final say in the game you are to play out of a list Syd & I give you. The challenge will be a surprise, obviously.

I'm back...
That's right, you can all sit down now(don't ask, 90s message board memory).
So... to get straight to the point. This game is 1000 light years ahead of Castle of Dragon in fun, playablility, graphics, editing, art direction, and story... even though you're just a ship shooting stuff.
I think the Oscar should go to Tarantino for a bang-up job.

Try playing it without the TGL code. There's a whole lot more to it than the space-shooter stuff.
This game is pretty famous for being ahead of it's time as a hybrid-genre game.
I hope we see us some Legacy of the Wizard in this challenge.
Another thought - thus far, this topic is still on page 1, while at this point I think we were on page 3 of Castle of Dragon. Most of those posts were threats to lynch Douche, but still...

Guardian Legend is a good choice. No lynchings from me this week.
Anyone got any Rule 34 on the spaceship bitch?

I wish I had put more time into this game than I currently have. My computer meltdown burned me out for the Castle of Dragon week and most of this one.
I played with it tonight and saw there's a lot to it. I should get the cartridge version

I don't think it will be possible for anyone to beat this. The TGL-ized version doesn't give you nearly enough resources to cope with the later bosses.
Note: anyone who -really- knows this game isn't worried about beating the seaweed monsters. There's bosses much tougher than them.
