So, who's taken a break from Brawl and played this awesome game? From the makers of the equally awesome Killer7, it's a foul-mouthed, gory, fighting game. I absolutely love the humor and controls. I keep switching from Heroes to Brawl to Heroes, though. It's so tough.

I just started this yesterday actually. I really like the controls and the fighting in general. It's fun just watching the crazy shit that happens when you get 3 of a kind on the slots thing.

I'm not to thrilled with the open world part of the game though. I really wanted to get to the next mission after I killed number 11 but now I've got to collect coconuts. It adds to the humor a bit but it also tacks on a bunch of wasted time when I could be dismembering people. I wish they'd just made it more of a linear action game. It's still early though, so the side missions will probably get more entertaining.

They complained that killer7 was too linear. Nobody can possibly be happy.

I beat the game yesterday and I am now trying to beat it on bitter. It is one of the best games I have ever played, and while I don't understand why everything in the open world had to be so far away, it wasn't enough to bring the game down.

The PAL version of No More Heroes sucks. It has no blood at all. I'm not a huge fan of gore, but NMH without blood is like Mario without his cap.

It goes without saying that the PAL version of everything has more or less sucked more than NTSC releases; Robots instead of people in Contra, choppy, horrible framerates and slowed down gameplay, non-simultaneous release dates with tons of pointlessly wasted time for Europe, list goes on.

Tell me about it. I've ranted about it elsewhere, but the glitches exclusive to the European version of Super Paper Mario epitomises the terrible mess that is PAL.

Oh, and don't forget the ridiculous name changes for Ninja Gaiden and Contra. Shadow Warriors and Probotector? No thanks.

Anyways, I'd like to know if NMH's plot is on par with Killer 7's storyline. I love the twists and thought-provoking content in Killer 7, and descriptions of NMH have left me a bit unimpressed. Would you say it's story is just as bizarre and unique?

I personally didn't like Killer 7, but my experience with this game has been pretty awesome.

I look forward to playing it once I get a Wii....

I beat the game and all I have to tell you is that the fight with #1 as well as the secret boss (make sure you've bought all 3 Tsubaki beam katanas before going after #1 to see the real ending and fight him).
The Gamble Fight assassination mission is a lot of fun and a great way to raise money.
The story is there and it does have several twists, but the real draw for me was seeing the designs for each assassin.

I'm not sure, but I think this thought is incomplete.

I have that game, and I love it.

I need to get off of Smash Bros. and Virtual Console for a moment so I can finish that game.

Sorry to bump but Jesus I just got this and Okami yesterday, NMH is awesome. I really love the humor in it, "Tkae a crap to save" There were a ton of WTF?! moments, and I've been really enjoying it, any idea what the balls do?

I accidentally kicked a dumpster and found a shirt, now I have to go around and find everything...

I made the same purchase (NMH & Okami) a couple weeks ago. Got both for the price of a 360 game so that was pretty sweet. I've only played through the tutorial and first level in NMH, just to make sure everything was in working order, but it seemed really fucking awesome. Unfortunately I need to beat a couple games I already have in progress before I can get back to it.

If you are talking about the balls I am thinking of, later in the game you'll be able to go to a bar and trade in those balls for special abilities.

The Lovikov balls? I traded mine in for an ability that allows me to run really fast.

I still need to fucking finish this game. I also wish that you could play as Syndrome Destroyman.

I'm fucked for games right now. I stopped playing NMH and eternal sonata because I NEED to finish dynasty warriors gundam, then I went out and bought lost planet for no reason. I barely even touch brawl anymore Sad

Hell, I just picked up Front Mission 4 and the PS2 version of Okami today while I'm juggling Super Paper Mario. I've still got MP3, Trauma Center: New Blood, Dragon Quest 4 Swords, and finishing off FF XII in queue.
