So I've been working on a new mobile series totally unrelated to Press Start, and we just starting shooting last night! Here's the first publicity photo for it:
[I've temporarily taken out the images so I can tweak levels and such in Photoshop.]
Keep watching this space for more info! It should be a lot of fun.

Not quite, but he's still totally excellent.
Incidentally, the series is sort of an '80s sci-fi/action throwback, and so far I think the '80s feel has been coming through really well, which is exciting. It's sorta my tribute to flicks like Terminator, Aliens, and even some horror stuff like Friday the 13th.
Also, sorry for taking down some of the pics for now -- they just needed some tweaking. So for now here's a piece of concept art for the series:

Yeah, the concept art was done by Max Forward (the son of the head writer for the Zelda cartoon series, incidentally). I gave him a rundown of the series and the kind of look I was going for, and he did a phenomenal job with it. I think a good deal of the inspiration for it came from anime - particularly Ghost in the Shell.

So, due to the similarity to the names of a minor DC character and an Australian kids TV series, I'm changing the name of the series to RoboGirl.
Anyhow, here's a nearly-final version of the poster art. Thoughts?

The pose seems a bit awkward. When I think of a robot (or cyborg) I don't think of one holding its belt. And the eye effect could be a little redder. I know that may smack of Terminator unless the pink effect has significance.
I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Thanks, Spanky! Not much I can do about the pose, I'm afraid; this one is actually an alternate pose, because the original didn't work out as well as I'd wanted. And I absolutely agree about the eye glow. That's been much trickier than I would have expected, but I'll fiddle with it a bit more and see what I can do.
