I can't remember I just remember there being a giant pinball chasing this kid and he had 3 lives to make it out or something. Very vague but then again so is my memory.

"The Tale of the Pinball Wizard" was one of the best episodes of the series. However, the episode took place in a mall with people and situations inspired by a pinball game. There were three levels to win, not three lives to lose. At the end of the episode SPOILERS the second game turned out to a live version of pinball as a giant silver ball was about to shot out from an escalator. He did not actually have to fight the pinball in the episode.
And despite my protests this story was not expanded into a novel in the short run of AYAOTD books.
