From the 8-bit: A whimsical platformer with an Arabian setting reworked into our sequel to the game that saved the industry.

From the 16-bit: An RPG sequel with a more balanced battle system and a better story.

Two...twos. Let's see which is number one here.

Even though I have a certain level of resentment regarding SMB2 because to me, it's a symbol of a lack of respect for the American market, it is still one of my favorite games. Also, if they had not pulled this stunt, we probably never would have got Doki Doki Panic. So while I hate the fact that we get screwed out ofgames, I'm still glad they made this move. So it gets my vote.

I don't care what anyone says, Super Mario 2 was an amazing game. Thus it gets my vote.

You're right, but when it comes to gaming now, at least its heaven over here compared to Europe.

That said, SMB2 is the shit.

I love both games, but I gotta go with SMB2. I played the hell out of it back in the day and I love it so much that it was the first game I bought on the Virtual Console.

I wish more villains from SMB2 would return to the Mario universe. In particular, Mouser, Triclyde, and Wart need to return.

This is a tough call for me. However, I am going to go with SMB2, because I really didn't enjoy playing BoF2 last summer.

BOF 2 is a completely butchered game. Half of the elemental protection equip doesn't do anything as the coders apparently forgot to actually include elements. Most of the dragon spells do a set damage and suck up all your ap. Not o mention the only ap healing item you can get with constancy damages your hp as well and only goes up by 20. The story was good as was the variety of characters. But the flaws majorly outway the good.

And it's most definitely Super Mario Bros. 2 for the win. This isn't my most popular poll to date, but it has the most voted-for game to date. And we're only four-fifths done.
