Fire Emblem has been out along time and there are a lot of different "Fire Emblems" and a lot of different characters. I was thinking because of that (even though there are only 4 games translated from Japan) most people would have to have a favorite character (if you've played the game).
FE:(the first 1 on GBA) Jaffar
TSS: Colm
PoR: Stefan
RD: Stefan
I haven't played Radiant Dawn I can only assume Stefan is going to be my favorite character in that 1 too.

I hate fire emblem, but ike reminds me a lot of orson from lodoss war, and I was good with marth in melee.

Fire Emblem is fucking badass. I like it better than Shining Force, because you can pick who moves when.
I'd have to say Marth, but that's because he's awesome in SSBM.

I was playing shining force, and when my characters got the opportunity to class up I did. Turns out I'm a stupid fuck who shot myself in the foot because leveling up at the first opportunity cuts your endgame stats by a fourth.
I'm not very enthusiastic about playing shining force.
