When you are replaying old skewl games (classic or not) witch one are you playing?
Now i'm stick (again) with 3d Realms-era classic fps, like Shadow Warriors, Duke3D, Blood and Redneck Rampage. Especially since i found out how to play those old games on XP.
I'm also playing in my own LAN at Diablo I in multiplayer.
I figured out witch persons here still playing old skewl games.
In my living room, this is a NES who is connected to my cinema-tv, lol.

old skewl gamer.

I started playing Rockman X2 yesterday, I beat a game called D-Force the day before, both are SNES of course.

I've been playing Tetris DS a lot lately. While not technically an old school game, the Tetris itself certainly is.

I've also recently started playing the lost Taito classic Parasol Stars for the TG16.

I'm always playing some old school shooters on MAME.

Other than that I play through Castlevania I, II, III and IV frequently.

Hey, I'd play diablo 1 with you. I know battle net doesn't support it anymore, but we can get a program called Hamachi to emulate a lan, and we can play together on that. Hit me up on aim at MurdarMachene if you're interested.

I'm working on legend of zelda for Snes, just got the level 4 sword, about to get the super shield.

Working on X-Com UFO, still have yet to beat that game.

Ditto, but with "beat 'em ups", especially X-Men.

X-Men is a terrible beat 'em up, I only play it for comedic value. Wolverine shooting lasers from his claws, alright! Oh, and, "X-MEN...WELCOME TO DIE!" from magneto is one of the best lines in any video game, ever.

We oughta play Violence Storm on 3 player some time. It's basically a great final fight ripoff from konami. Instead of Haggar, you get Black Duke Nukem.

I started playing Clock Tower: Ghost Head nonstop today. It's not exactly "old skewl", but no one plays it anymore (not that anyone ever did).

Banjo Tooie, Secret Of Mana, Beetle Adventure Racing, FF3, (SNES), Duke 3D, Warcraft II (BattleNet), Breath Of Fire II, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros, Metriod, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Rayman, Contra, Super Metriod, Street Fighter 2, Star Wars: TIE Fighter, Super Mario 64, a bunch of old MicroProse games, and all of the MAME Metal Slug games. I had a couple of freinds over yesterday, and we would take turns on Metal Slug 3 (no saves, no replays). It was a blast. It would probably be better with a gamepad/controller of some kind, though, so I'm gonna go pick one up ASAP.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the SNES Earthworm Jim games.

Did either of you ever play the 6 player version of X-Men in an actual physical arcade? The MAME history.dat file I have lists it as using three screens, but I seem to remember it only using two.

Nope only the four play. I think it would be two screens... that's the most I've ever seen them.

For reals, this world is very difficult.

It definitely used two screens. Ninjawarriors used three screens.

I used to go to this arcade named Atlantis like every Saturday. Then the arcade got bought out by some other company in early 1992 and was renamed Fun World, and actually added space and put in all these new games. It was amazing. A couple weeks after Fun World had reopened they got the 6-player X-Men cabinet, man that cabinet was impressive as hell. It was flanked by two 50-inch cabinets on the side, one running Captain Commando and the other with Sunset Riders. God, those were the fucking days.

I'm gonna get you eventually. Everybody wanna knock Dildo down. I'll go straight to Sheena AND I'll BE there YES I WILL. This world is very difficult, but I've got nothing to lose now, there's no defeat.

Now I spend all my time fighting all around, I'm a tough guy, do it man. You think you can beat us, we got the look, oh so fine. Just wait, I'll get even with you.

Something like that

Anybody down for some oldskewl netplay? We could get a bunch of guys on Diablo 1, if we all hopped on hamachi. That would be fuck win.

I've been playing Punch Out!! a lot lately. I've beat it a couple times, but I'm rusty from my time off with it, Mr. Sandman beat me. I guess you could say he made me ENTER NIGHT (HA...HA...EH!?). After being able to crush Mr. Dream, talk about a blow to the ego though. I've also been playing the Mega Man X collection lately too, which are all older games. Does anyone here actually collect older games too? I do, but I mostly focus on NES games.

I recently bought Harley's Humungous Adventure on the SNES. Anyone remember it? I always thought that the leading role in this game was the prize of a contest put on by some fruit drink company, but I don't remember the details.

I've been playing Jade Cocoon for the past week and I'm gearing up for a long-awaited 'nother runthrough of FFVII. I haven't played through it in years, so I'm really excited. These aren't necessarily "old school", but naming all the old school games I often play is just way too wordy.

RIP Hacker.

You down for some Bomberman 5 netplay sometime? Any time? I love that game.

Alien Solider is awesome, you don't have to take a single hit if you're good.

"The Misadventures Of Tron Bonne"

The classic PS1 Game (as well as one of my alltime favorites.)

Maybe i shoulda used a servbot as my avatar instead? Back to the game, Tron (the chick) rules, and so do her nutty little friends.

Any mini game where you chuck skull shaped cherry bombs at 1920's looking police officer targets, will pretty much get a "thumbs up" in my book.

Steve Gavazzi, Marc Green
Jon Sly! It's time to play... WHICH DOUCHEBAG SAID THIS????

"I'm curious -- which mountain climber was used in Cliff Hangers?"

Happy anniversary you fucking wankers!
