Alone in the Dark 5 has been delayed time and time again. I never really cared, because I've only played Alone in the Dark 3 (and own 4 but never played it). Let us not remember that there might have been a movie in there somewhere too...
Anyway, AotD 5 seems to be gathering steam once more. I wasn't really excited until I saw their latest
Game Trailers video. Of course, I haven't a clue why I'm so excited. All those things that make the game a bit more realistic should be the standard in games. And why do we care about realism in games? Jack Thompson thinks he knows.
But it's not action driven like Resident Evil 4, it looks a lot like a Silent Hill game, there's no RPG elements in it (that I know of), so what is the appeal? I'm not sure, but AotD 5 is looking mighty spiffy.
