The rock band Boston has recently asked presidential candidate/amateur bassist Mike Huckabee to stop performing their song "More Than A Feeling" with his band Capitol Offense.
"Boston has never endorsed a political candidate, and will all due respect, would not start by endorsing a candidate who is the polar opposite of most everything Boston stands for," wrote band member Tom Scholz, adding that he is supporting Democratic Sen. Barack Obama. "By using my song, and my band's name Boston, you have taken something of mine and used it to promote ideas to which I am opposed. In other words, I think I've been ripped off, dude!"
Scholz's complaint has evoked the ire of the entire city of Boston, who have repeatedly asked the band to change their name due to the negative light in which they portray the city. Boston's mayor, Tom "Mumbles" Menino issued a statement condemning the band for making headlines and for once again "associating the birthplace of the American Revolution with wicked queer pop-oriented 1970s rock that managed to surpass even Foreigner in terms of its awfulness."
The band has yet to respond.

Did he actually say that?
Also, go Boston. Again.

No, Menino didn't actually say that. I wouldn't put it past him though.

I don't even like the band Boston, but I'll say they're better than the city. Boston the city sucks.

The city has the Museuem of Science. The Museum of Science has the Charles Hayden Planetarium. The Charles Hayden Planetarium has Pink Floyd laser shows.
Boston (the city) FTW.

Eh, they have those pink floyd lazer shows here in PHX too. I read their adverts all the time in the New Times.

Actually, the New Kids are from Framingham.
Aerosmith is from Boston. And that's about it. Unless you count Staind and Godsmack, which I don't.

Yeah, every city has a laser show, that's not winning Boston anything. And Aerosmith being from there is minus points.
