That guy is awesome. In fact, I still remember when I first learned about him.
It was in a magazine article. I saw a picture of him holding a portable Atari 2600 that he made and I read that he did these kinds of things when he was not at work.

I don't think the wii portable is a good idea. Imagine someone trying to play it on an airplane and see what happens.
