Has anyone here ever played a game for a long time, went to bed, and then had crazy as shit dreams about the game you were playing?

I remember having some crazy Virtua Fighter 4 and FFX dreams, but the worst come from The Sims 2. When I dream about Sims 2, I see myself sleeping in the dream with a little bar over my head that fills up the more sleep I get. Totally exhausting.

Anyone else?

Years back when I was playing the Mysteries of the Sith expansion for the first Jedi Knight, I had a dream where I found another area of Dromund Kaas crawling with swamp Wampas.

I've been playing a lot of Diablo 2 lately, so occasionally that'll sneak into my subconscious.

Used to happen to me all the time. I'd sit up till 5 in the morning playing civ3, then I would have an uncomfortable waking-sleep once I went to bed, in which I dreamt turn after turn. Happens anytime that I play a game nonstop for many hours before I go to bed.

I hate waking-sleeps in general. I remember one night I had spent the entire day home sick posting here, and had the whole chills-fever-delirium thing going on. I had an uncomfortable night of simulated posting and being screamed at by the giant head of Dr. Vink.

As for video games, I'll sometimes dream about playing a game I've wanted for a long time. Or I'll dream that I'm playing the game while I'm in the game and depending on if I was having trouble with it or not, everything will start to go wrong. Like, catastrophically wrong.

Well every once in awhile i get weird DBZ dreams which is odd as i have not watched or done anything with that since i was like 10. But even so I'm always trying to fly around/shoot stuff with massive energy blasts. But i either end up moving my hands stupidly or i get a few feet up in the air and i fall down.

Hey char, stop stealing my thunder =P

Similar to Cattivo, a couple days ago I was playing Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. I kept on losing this one mission and went to sleep soon after. In my sleep, I was "redoing" the entire mission turn by turn. When I woke up, I tried it again, and completed the mission. That was weird.

I also would do the same thing with Contra 4, with the Harbor level that used to kick my ass.

Man, I love that game. And Diablo 2 never goes out of style.

I have to get DoR. And I'm going to be dreaming about Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 tonight, as I just got my ass handed to me repeatedly by infinite-comboing assholes.

I've had various dreams of playing some RPGs, but quite a few of reading or even writing FAQs for games O.O

Any game that I end up playing nonstop trying to unlock everything usually ends up in my dreams. Soulcalibur II, Timesplitters II, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Mario Sunshine, and Majora's Mask are all good examples of this.

Oh man... Majora's Mask led to some really fucked up dreams.

Come to think of it, there was a period a few weeks ago when I was playing C&C 3 where everytime I'd roll over in my sleep, my half-conscious mind would try to tell me that I need to build a turret. Don't ask why, but apparently I need to be well defended in my sleep...

I always have this weird "Diablo 2" dream where I'm playing as a paladin in this thirdperson game running through a field at like 200 mph, jumping. It has nothing to do with Diablo basically, but my brain says it's Diablo.

Sometimes I have nightmares about Deja Vu for the NES. But during the nightmare, music from Parasite Eve plays...

This one time I had a dream that Blanka and WWF's Big Boss Man were my body guards. It was sweet.
