Ever hear about a game and somebody says that if they put such and such in a game it would be so much cooler? And it's usually stupid and not what the games all about.

On a response to a Myst review some kid said the game would be so much cooler if it had guns and you could kill people.

Do any of you have any stories of dumb suggestions?

I must agree w/Jew. I have thought all 3 Halo's were fun w/out any real complaints.

The main character from Devil May Cry.

He is so fucking annoying. They just tried to make him look cool but he ends up being annoying instead. So, fuck Dante.

"I want to make a FPS game, where if you come to a locked door, instead of wasting 20 minutes looking for the key, you could just shoot the fucking lock and open the door. Or, if the door is made out of wood, just kick the thing open. I would still have a key somewhere, just because 90% of gamers would never think of trying to shoot the door, because that has never worked before."

Whenever I hang out with my friend Dustin (who is a giant World of Warcrap nerd, much to my dismay), I have to hear shit like "You know what they should have in this game? They should have blahblahblahblahblah like in WoW." Also, he thinks that every game should have destructible terrain, even games where the guns you have wouldn't do near enough damage to destroy walls, much less the terrain.

Tell him to go hunt down Red Faction and shut the hell up. Then he can destory all the terrain he wants. That, or Soldner, a great game that never really caught on.

He has Red Faction. He complains about how everything wasn't destructible. He wants to blow holes in the dirt. I have no idea why.

I don't know, either. I've sort of stopped hanging out with the guy due to lack of time. He's 19, out of high school, and doesn't have a job. He's not going to college, basically has no prospects, it's pretty depressing. All he does is play World of Gaycraft and complain.

I'm nineteen, out of high school, and don't have a job. But I'm going through college. Does that make up for it? I hope it does.

As for dumb suggestions, I've made more than my fair share. But rather than try to shoehorn them into existing games that aren't compatible, I use them in games that I concept myself and don't bother anyone with the dumber ideas. (Usually it's something like "I think Rise of Nations would be better if one of the nations were dragons")

Nothing wrong w/not going to college. I never went to college. Mostly on account of me not believing in the school system anymore, and account of not having any ambition at all.

Now, too lazy to look for a job is ridiculous. There are mexicans jumping the border every day doing menial jobs for $5/hour so not being able to find a job is ridiculous (i know this because half my family does that.)

Complaining is also ridiculous especially if you're not gonna do anything to change/fix your/the situation.

Trying to be funny, the latest iteration of MK had a really shitty cart racing mini game.
