So, out of boredom last night, I decided to install a 3rd operating system on my PC.

So now I am running =
Windows XP Pro
Windows Vista Ultimate x64
& Now
Window XP Pro x64

I must say, that I really like XP x64, it seems a bit more responsive that x32 XP. And, now that there is decent driver support for it, there is no reason not to use it.

Also, the 32bit compatibility seems to be working just fine, as I am using both x32 and x64 software on it without any problems. (Though, I have only installed 2 games so far. [FarCry & Company Of Heroes])

And, if you are wondering why I decided to use it, it is because I am looking to upgrade my system in January when I get my quarterly bonus from work. I am going to be stepping up to an AM2+ Mobo, an AMD 5000+ Black Edition, and 4GB of DDR2 6400 RAM.

I figured that I should probably move up to XP x64 so I could acually use all 4GBs, since I refuse to move to Vista entirely.

Anybody else been running XP x64? Any long term effects or problems I should know about? Also, if you are, how do you like it?

I'm going to have to start running it, since I plan to upgrade and I don't want to run Vista either. The only thing I know is that if you install AutoDesk Inventor on an XP x64 system it'll crash every time you try to start it up, although I'm sure there's a fix for that.
