Yeah, SMB for the NES. Mine was actually the single game cart instead of the dual SMB/Duck Hunt cart.

It was either Lock N Chase on the Intellivision or Donkey Kong on the Collecovision. Those are the two earliest videogame memories I have.

Too young to remember, but if I had to guess it would probably be either Up n' Down or Ducks Ahoy!

An Atari 2600 game... probably Berserk, Demon Attack, or Fire Fighter.

Fire Fighter! I used to always get stuck with one little dot of fire left on a level, and the people wouldn't come down.

I used to mostly put the fire out then let it build back up, just for kicks. The game was actually my grandfather's. He was a retired firefighter and somehow he became fascinated with video games. He never played anything other than NES or 2600, but he played them all the time. His favorite NES game was Palamedes. He wasn't big into platformers.

I wanna say Xevious, but it was probably Mrs. Pac-Man... coincidently, Mrs. Pac-Man was my first too.
Edit: Xevious, not Xervious... My mistake.

I fucking hate Xervious with the intense passion of a thousand red burning suns. Those fucking Koreans need to stop making shitty knock-offs of real game. Xevious is a hard game to ruin, but some Xervious took everything that was cool about Xevious and make it suck.

Mine was pac man on my atari 400. Greatest present ever. Only problem was that is also ment I had to start typing my homework in elementary school. As far as I'm concerned that was one of the BEST Ataris made. Games actually lookid like they were supposed to unlike the 2600.

One of the first ones I can remember is Pigs in Space. Or Perhaps Dig Dug or Mr. Do! I can't remember which came first, the Dig Dug or the Pig. Either way, thinking about this just makes me feel old.

The first video game I remember playing is probably that impossibly frustrating Atari 2600 version of E.T. How the fuck do you play that game?
The first game I remember renting: T&C Surf Design

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us. |

You kinda walk around and collect Reese's Pieces, then you fall into some holes, then a Dick Tracy looking guy takes you away. Then you fall into some holes. 800x.

That was my first Genesis game, and I happened to play it with my uncle as well. We played Road Rash next, and then I was determined to get that console for Christmas that year.
