Every Christmas my family and I go see a movie and then go out for Chinese food. I was just wondering what everyone would suggest we go see. I was thinking Sweeney Todd, I am Legend or Walk Hard.

After watching that dreadful performance during Monday Night Football last night, I would say avoid Walk Hard like the plague.

Personally I'm doing the Sweeney Todd thing. ...And actually I don't recommend "I Am Legend" as a "Christmas" movie.

Any Tim Burton Film is great for Christmas, That's probably why Sweeney Todd is out right now. Look at Burton's track record: Batman Returns and Edward Scissor Hands are classics and are only subtle Christmas movies.

I just thought of something, does anyone remember the scene where Edwards stabs the man villian and the guy goes falling out the window. I couldn't help but compare it to the scene were George knocks out Biff from Back to the Future.

In both movies, the main villain pushes the leading lady to the ground and starts laughing like a moron. Edwards and George have the same look of contempt for the villain (at the same camera angle no less) and severally catch the douche off guard. I'll look for some video off youtube so you can juxtapose for yourself.
