25 Worst Remakes Ever

http://movies.aol.com/movie-photo/worst-movie-remakes?ncid=aoltop00020000000075

You know any list that begins by saying: "Sometimes it works ('The Italian Job')" is going to be missing a few screws in the head. However, their list called in some films I totally forgot existed. While the order is arguable, here's their list:

25. Meet Joe Black
24. Alfie
23. The Ladykillers
22. The Truth About Charlie
21. Poseidon
20. Planet of the Apes
19. The Pink Panther
18. City of Angels
17. Down to Earth
16. House of Wax
15. The Stepford Wives
14. The Ring 2
13. All the King's Men
12. The Hitcher
11. 101 Dalmatians
10. Godzilla
9. The Island of Dr. Moreau
8. The Out-of-Towners
7. Get Carter
6. When a Stranger Calls
5. Swept Away
4. The Wicker Man
3. The Fog
2. Rollerball
1. Psycho

And, yes, they were wrong about "Get Carter".

14. The Ring 2

I call foul. That was NOT a remake. That was a SEQUEL to a remake, 100% unrelated to the Japanese Ring 2.

Also, The Island of Dr. Moreau isn't a remake either. It's another adaptation of a book that's been adapted before. Compare to Psycho or Rollerball which truly were remakes and not re-adaptations of the book/story.

Otherwise, I can get behind that list. Also, I love both Italian Job films.

Gia went straight to HBO, I think that's why it got discredited.
