Has anyone been watching this one? It's genre is right up my alley and since the CW's sound has been shit on my TV, I am unable to get my 'Supernatural' fix so this show has been like a placebo*. I will admit, i am a fan of Angel (Buffy also but it comes second) and the show does win points for being everything a vamp drama should be. It just doesn't interest me as much as 'Supernatrual.' I think what it is is the channel.

CBS always had a 'light and cheery' kind of feel to it for me which takes away from the darkness of dramas. Also i haven't cared for CBS since i stopped watching CSI: Vegas (long story short, grown men should not wear diapers). About CSI thought, heres something interesting , CSI has a different feel to it when i see reruns of it on other channels compared to the same rerun shown on CBS. Same goes with other dramas, comedies not so much. I was wondering if anyone else got a different vibe from a show when it plays on 2 or more different channels.

Back to moonlight, another thing that could be taking away from my interest in the show is i entered it late in the game. And the actor who plays the lead has a 'soap' kind of style to him and i never like soap operas. It could also be that i only have see a couple of episodes and maybe i should give it more time.

So any opinions on Moonlight?

*I am aware i could watch Supernatural on youtube but it's not the same. Plus i try to avoid watching shows on youtube in case an episode is not upload and I'm stuck at a ciffhanger.

I haven't been watching "Moonlight", but I've been taping it. One reason I love winter breaks is that it gives me time to catch up on the shows I've missed... except this break will be much longer. Crying

When "Moonlight" started the reviews weren't too kind. A lot of the critics I read mentioned that it didn't live up to "Angel", which deterred me a little.

However, I'm excited to catch up on the show for two reasons: Molly Culver is in episode 3 and Kevin Weisman's on the cast!

I've noticed that too. "X-Files" on FX never looked as fresh as it did on FOX. I personally blame the video quality they air it as. When FOX airs "Alias" reruns, it looks as good as it did on ABC; FOX airs "Seinfeld" as well as NBC; and whatever channel broadcasts "The Dead Zone" at 2 in the morning also airs it with the same quality of USA. But, Spike airing "CSI" doesn't have the same gloss CBS does... I'm not sure why this is. Speaking of cable, I wonder how USA is handling "Criminal Intent", because USA's original programs look pretty good. So a network show airing new episodes on cable should have the same look/feel...
