Last night, Comedy Central ran what it billed as the season finale of Drawn Together. However, Comcast's description of the episode called it the series finale, and numerous references to the show being cancelled were made throughout the episode.

The only info I could find on the show came, unfortunately, from Wikipedia:

"The show's status is currently in limbo. Comedy Central has not ordered a fourth season, but the show has not been officially cancelled. Sales figures for the Season Two DVD release, along with television ratings for the second half of Season Three, are also expected to play a role in determining whether or not the show continues. The DVD was released on September 25, 2007, and the second half of Season Three began airing on Thursday, October 4.[1]

In March 2007, it was announced that creators Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein have left Comedy Central and signed a two year contract with Fox Broadcasting Company to create new series and/or work on the network's existing ones. A fourth season for Drawn Together remains a possibility, especially since previews for the finale called it the "season finale" but within the finale itself it seemed cancellation was indeed immnent. Even if the show continues, Jeser and Silverstein would no longer be involved with the show on a day-to-day basis."

God I hope that show's cancelled. I've probably said it here before, but while the show can be funny, it often goes over the top and does gross-out comedy simply to shock and not entertain. There's a line between gross and funny & gross and disgusting, and they cross it every week.

I have a love/hate relationship with the show. There are some really funny jokes, but yeah, then there's some stuff that's just gross.

But "Foxxy vs. the Board of Education" is fucking awesome, particularly the Board of Education's song.

The show was good for the first two seasons (I didn't get to watch it this season, but I assume it was still good). But with the creators gone, the show would probably go down the toilet fast. So let it die an honorable death now, rather than ruining its reputation with an awful season completely removed from the process.

End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path. One that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. Then you see it. White shores, and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise.
-Gandalf the White, in the movie version of Return of the King
