I'm arguing with a girl whether or not Flyleaf is metal. I mean, listen to one of their songs. Even if you somehow like them I don't know how you could consider that metal. Still, she keeps pulling the old "w/e" on me. How am I supposed to counter that?!

I sent her some Mekong Delta videos but she won't even click the freakin' links. You'd think if someone took the time to find songs of shitty bands by themselves you'd at least have the courtesy to watch a few videos.

EDIT: Oh, she's watching a movie with her Aunt that she hasn't seen in over a year. Probably not the best time to be on the computer then, is it?

Yeah, well, she can't even bother with clicking links. Once she wouldn't look up God of War so I could talk to her about it. So I said "Here's a link to get you started" and then gave her google.com. Still, she refused to click it.

Well, I have to agree w/Valdronius. Just smack her across the face. With your hand, or your shlong. Either one works fine. And it seems as though this girl really just pisses you off. How about just not dealing w/her at all?

She thinks THIS is metal. They sound more like an Alternate Rock band then metal.

Note how they are not influenced by bands like: Metallica, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden. Well Wikipedia has got it half right. They do sound like an alternative rock band but i don't hear much metal in their songs.

I read the Wikipedia article beforehandm but after listening to the songs you just can't seriously think it's metal. Even if the band themselves declare it's metal, compare it to other metal bands and it's completely different.
