whats a good steppenwolf CD to get? I figured I would ask you guys since you guys are pretty hard core in terms of rock. Unless Steppenwolf sucks. Then I will go w/another suggestion. Thanks.

I would personally stick with a best of to start. Then whichever album has the most songs you like, buy that.

And Steppenwolf f'in rules! Go Canada Go!

No, thank you, for buying a cd and supporting the industry. I'm so against illegal downloading (unless used for good purposes). I'm against legal downloads too, cuz I'm a musician and artist, and buying the material album supports art too.

Well, im not an angel. I am guilty of downloading songs. But for the most part I will just download one or two songs from a CD that I really wouldnt like, rather than spend $15-$25 on some CD full of crap (im looking at you Nas Streets disciple.)

But for $9.97 for 18 classic songs on Steppenwolf. I will definitely be buying that one. Here's the link to anyone interested: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00003002E/ref=wl_it_dp/102-3082520-2247322?ie=UTF8&coliid=I31X74L1OCIQHP&colid=2FZM1TBKZUZ9A

That link on my previous post takes you to the amazon.com page which has a short sample of each song on their greatest hits album.

Magic Carpet Ride and Born to be Wild. The only two songs i know by them. I have the 20th century masters CD and it has both those songs and more i don't remember. It's all right, but the two mentioned are their best known.
