On the one hand, I'm glad that 4Kids isn't behind this series anymore. On the other hand, the voices sound really, really awkward. Not because the acting is bad (it's actually much better and less gimmicky), it's just that I've gotten used to the voice actors from the series under 4Kids. That, and Zolo now sounds like Piccolo.

From what I've heard only Sanji's smoking and other shit that absolutely has to be censored will be.
Hopefully their DVD releases will be like Naruto, where you can at least have the option of getting it uncut.

Also, the original soundtrack is great. I don't know why 4Kids decided to replace sweeping orchestral numbers with generic "yo-ho-ho" bullshit.

Well, hell. I'll be buying uncut One Piece boxes, then. The unedited show is great, but downloading is a hassle and the HK subs call Sanji "Sunkist" and call Usopp something like "Crook Bu."

I absolutely despise the 4kids butcherment of one piece. I do enjoy the sub version. One Piece is one of those animes i really can get into and I cannot wait to see the new dubs. Although, I do perfer some subs over dubs, still, i'll give it a shot.

That has been an issues since day one. Orchestral numbers worked for Digimon so why they made the change is beyond human comprehension.
