I was eating cheese and crackers, and I noticed that all we keep in slices around my house is shitty American. So I got to thinking about how sandwiches and shit would taste way better if we had something different. I like cheddar, pepper jack, parmesan, and asiago.

My new favorite snack is melting Parmesan cheese slices on Ritz crackers. I've been melting cheese on crackers for years, but when I tried it with Parmesan... magic.

Yeah. I used to make toasted roast beef sandwiches in the oven. The cheese would get melty and awesome. I gotta do that again.

I like cheese, even if I am a little lactose. I like mozarella for making quesadillas, and cheese sticks. I dont know what type that is, but whatever it is, I like it lol.

I love all cheese, except head cheese.
Monteray Jack is my favorite of the bunch, though.
Followed by Extra Sharp Chedder.

Usually the white cheesesticks are mozzarella, and the yellow ones are cheddar. Though, I've seen colby ones before.

Swiss is good with roast beef. Mozzarella is awesome for pizza and Italian food. Parmesan is great alone or with a friend. I used to like Cheddar a lot more, but it's too fucking oily and hurts my throat if I eat it melted. I do love a good hunk of medium or sharp Tillamook cheddar from straight out of the fridge, sliced and eaten unceremoniously from the end of a knife.
I like all the cheeses of the world. Not including any plastic or canned cheeses.
Also not including chedder, which is painfully overrated.

I like pretty much all cheeses except for Swiss. The sharper, the better. My favorite would have to be Widmer's Brick Cheese. It's made in the next town over. I used to melt it on a plate and eat it with a fork.

I love cheese. I have been known to buy one of those little blocks of Cabot Pepper Jack and eat it like a candy bar.
The question for me isn't what type of cheeses, I like; it's which ones DON'T I like.
I don't like brie or goat cheese, and I don't like plain cheddar unless it's either melted on top of something or really fresh. I hate cheddar that's been sitting in the fridge for like a week and it's all hard from the cold. I like there to be a degree of malleability to my cheddar.
Actually, there's one other cheese that I can stand, mostly because it doesn't exist: orange American cheese. There are two types of American cheese, yellow and white. There is no orange American cheese. There will NEVER be orange American cheese. If you think the yellow looks orange, then get some fucking laser eye surgery, asshole.
Everything else is fucking awesome. In addition to the previously stated pepper jack, I am a big fan of swiss, muenster, feta, and blue cheese.

People always ask the hypothetical question: if you had to choose one food to eat forever, knowing that it would never make you unhealthy and you'd have every variety of it to choose from, what would it be?
I have to go with cheese. Or sushi. But most likely cheese.

Sushi? How can that even be unhealthy? If you make it yourself, instead of relying on the supermarket, it can be extremely healthy! If you lived on cheese, you'd probably die of scurvy.

I didn't say sushi was unhealthy. I said that when most people pose the question, they put in the bit about "it could never make you unhealthy" because people aren't going to answer with cheese or ice cream if the health concerns are weighted; you'd be dead in not time.
Also, while there's not enough mercury in fish for the normal person to worry about, eating nothing but fish forever could have some unhealthy, long-term effects.

The only fish you really have to worry about eating on a daily basis is lake-raised fish, like salmon (but only from a lake, not the ocean) because these tend to have extremely high levels of mercury. But, you can get veggie and tofu sushi, so you don't really have to worry about getting sick of fish.
p.s. I totally did not read your comment correctly the first time... it makes a lot more sense now!

I like cheddar and mozzarella - but I can't eat a lot of it without taking ridiculously overpriced Lactaid pills (which by the way are over the counter instead of prescription).
