You guys know those annoying motivational posters that guidance conselors and managers like to hang in their offices? Well this site does parodies of them:
http://despair.com/
They even have a place where you can make your own:
http://diy.despair.com/motivator.php
Scroll down to see a few that I made. *WARNING! PROBABLY OFFENSIVE! DO NOT TAKE SERIOUSLY!*
Feel free to post your own. I made more but they are political, and while I consider myself an equal opportunity offender I do not wish to start a politics/religion flame war.

I deleted the starving children one because, well, naked children are gross. Otherwise, well done sir.
Also, is your avatar from the most excellent Terrible Thunder Lizards cartoon?

I could chnage the children one to non-siminaked starving children, unless the whole thing is too offensive. And yes, my avatar is Biff, the wussier of the two thugosaurs from the Terrible Thunder Lizards show.

Nah, if you can find better clothed starving children, that's fine.

The site isn't working for me.
Every time I submit a poster, I get a "Please wait a moment" loading screen then it comes back with a blank page.

I finally got it to work. Apparently the site doesn't like it when you submit a BMP file for your image.
Here's my first one:

I've seen those Trek ones before, love them.
And I hope to God that that American soldier pic isn't real.

I've been using another motivational poster generator, at http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/motivator.php - it's basically the same one.
I haven't come up with anything that's particularly funny or witty besides inside jokes, but I'm really partial to this one:

My Sydapedia page lists my game collection and friend codes, if you're interested. |
