Didn't know what to think of this. Its cool on the one hand, but then it isnt. It's cool because its Mario and it's SMW, but then it just seems kind of gay. I dont know. Y'all decide.

Watching that was like watching the scene in Pirates of the Carribbean I where Jack escapes from the British Army, magically dodging bullets, swords, and potholes. In short, it was dagnab awesome.

Hey murdar, don't this super expert version hack of SMW remind you of Rockman Exile?

Smoked it away apparently!

I'd go so far as to say this isn't a pepertual Mario machine at all. It ends quite conclusively. It's more of a Rube Goldberg Mario Machine.

I was thinking it was more of a Rube Goldberg machine, too. I had to make one of those for a project in high school physics. Mine wasn't nearly as entertaining, of course.

I really like these "no-movement levels" in games, because I can't help but think "It must've taken forever to get that all juuuust right". Pixel-perfect accuracy always amazes me. The best part, though, is that there's a ghost house inside the ghost house (around forty-seven seconds in).

I just realized almost none of this is automated. there are some parts where yoshi simply walks too far for it to be plausible, and plus mario picks up and holds onto a shell for the last little bit of the video, and there are clearly some in air jump adjustments, especially during the elevator part where he was avoiding the bullet bills.

fake

I agree that this is a very well done stage/video and I give props for that, but there are some areas where the user has to press down to slide down stairs or go down the pipe + hold the shell. and of course press the 'B' button to get rid of the japanese text on screen

I think he has to hold Y to "run" while on Yoshi for the yoshi parts. Also he holds B so he bounces off the bouncers higher...

This is all conjectural of course, but it's a potential explanation.

When is some one going to make a BILL Goldberg machine? That would be even more impressive.

Speaking of Rube Goldberg, anyone remember 'the incredible machine?'

Those games were so much fun in middle school (man that makes me feel old.)

The original one or the remake with cartoony graphics? I was all about the first one with real pistols instead of that plastic laser toy crap.

Incredible machine was great. I think we now have the technology to make a truly great incredible machine game. Let us make this noble goal a reality.

Someone else do it. I'm broke.
